The soil testing services offered by ProWay Turf, Inc. help in deciding the need for lime or fertilizers by the lawn.
In the process of soil testing, the elements present in the soil like phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium, sodium, sulfur, manganese, copper and zinc are chemically removed and then measured for their "plant available" content within the sample. The amount of nutrients available in the sample helps in determining the amount of fertilizers that is recommended. This test is also performed for measuring soil pH, organic matter and exchangeable acidity.
